Sectioned radially textured stoneware disc quarters with a central radially textured stoneware disk, mounted an salvaged 85 plus year old walnut slab. Reclaimed maple bead “eyes”, latex paints and waterbased satin polyurethane clear coat. Hanging wire on the back.
I had a totally different plan for this piece, but as I was laying it out,,,,the “Aha” moment struck,,,,it’s an artist thing.
